About Publius Legal AI

Publius Legal AI is an AI-powered software platform built to assist legal professionals with document review, research, and related workflows; it does not provide legal advice, does not replace an attorney, and must not be relied on as a substitute for independent legal judgment. Use of Publius does not create an attorney–client relationship between any user and Publius or its affiliates, and users remain solely responsible for their professional decisions and compliance with all applicable laws, rules of professional conduct, and confidentiality obligations.

Informational Purposes Only

Any insights, analytics, or outputs generated by Publius are for informational and workflow-support purposes only and should be independently reviewed and verified before being used in legal matters, court filings, or client communications. References on this site to case outcomes, efficiency gains, or productivity improvements are illustrative only and do not guarantee similar results in any particular matter or jurisdiction.

Service Terms and Electronic Communications

By accessing or using this website and any Publius services, you acknowledge that electronic communications may carry inherent security and reliability risks, and you agree that Publius is not responsible for delays, interruptions, errors, or data loss arising from third-party networks, infrastructure providers, or integrated services. Publius may update or modify its services, content, and policies from time to time, and continued use of the site or platform after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Jurisdictional Limitations

Nothing on this website is intended to solicit clients where such solicitation would violate local rules or regulations, and availability of Publius in any jurisdiction is subject to applicable law and regulatory approvals. If you have questions about how these terms apply to you or your organization, you should consult with qualified legal counsel.

Privacy Policy

Third-Party Integrations

Publius may integrate with third-party services such as Google Drive, Microsoft SharePoint, Dropbox, and other cloud storage or productivity platforms to enable document import and workflow features. The following disclosures describe how Publius handles user data accessed through these integrations, in compliance with applicable platform policies including the Google API Services User Data Policy.

Data Accessed

Publius only accesses files and associated metadata that a user explicitly selects or connects within the platform (for example, by choosing a file or folder to sync or analyze from a connected service). We do not access a user's entire cloud storage account, nor do we read or index files that the user has not intentionally connected to Publius.

Data Usage

File contents from connected third-party services are used solely to power Publius features that the user initiates, such as document review, search, summarization, and related workflow automation. Outputs and analytics are for informational and workflow-support purposes only and must be independently reviewed and verified before being used in legal matters, court filings, or client communications. We do not use data from connected services for advertising, user profiling unrelated to our legal-workflow services, or selling data.

Data Sharing

Publius does not sell user data obtained from third-party integrations. File contents from connected services are not shared with third parties except trusted service providers acting as processors (e.g., hosting, storage, and infrastructure providers) strictly as necessary to operate the service, under contractual confidentiality and security obligations. We do not allow these providers to use such data for their own independent purposes.

Data Storage & Protection

Data from connected third-party services is transmitted over encrypted connections and stored using industry-standard security controls, including encryption in transit and at rest, access controls based on least-privilege, and logging and monitoring appropriate for sensitive legal and client documents. Publius may update or modify its security and infrastructure from time to time, but always with the goal of maintaining or enhancing protections for user data.

Data Retention & Deletion

We retain data sourced from third-party integrations only for as long as needed to provide the features the user has enabled or as required by law or legitimate security, fraud-prevention, or audit needs. Users may request deletion of their data (including data sourced from any connected service) by contacting us at info@publius.law, and we will process such requests promptly, deleting data from our active systems subject to any legally required retention.

For questions regarding these terms, our privacy practices, or Publius services, please contact us at info@publius.law. Publius and its affiliates reserve the right to update these terms at any time without prior notice.
